“For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another.” Romans 12: 4-12
Why Parish Volunteers are Important
Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given us, let us exercise them.
Every one of us has been given a gift from God that is to be used for the benefit of the community and that gift is a challenge to faithful use.
Your time and talent is also a ministry, whether it be liturgical, catechetical or sacristan, you are contributing to our parish community’s needs. By volunteering your time and talents, you’re answering the call of God by using the gifts that have been given. At the same time, you are developing the relationship with God through your individual ministry.
The giving of time and talent to our church community is a way for us to grow and prosper by exercising our Christian freedom for the responsibility of others. It is also a way for those in our community to form a connection and a sense of belonging through their contributions for the welfare of the parish.
Current Needs
At the moment, we are in special need of lectors, altar servers (including adults), ushers, and cash counters. Please contact our parish office if you wish to help us. Your support is always deeply appreciated!
